SonoBat version 2.4 builds upon previous enhancements implemented with SonoBat version 2. The callouts below highlight some of the improved features, although there are many more unseen enhancements to support your analysis of bat echolocation calls.
· Added quick std view buttons.

· Moved controls around to more logically related positions.

· Automatic update after editing attributes.

· Fixed incorrect selection of std view when subselection exceeded total msec of file.

· Fixed prefs panel to not preload directories if there is no change (faster closing of prefs panel when there are no directory changes).

· Moved speed control to position on top of analysis write button position.

· Enhanced appearance and functionality of Help message.

· Automatic update after editing attributes (no need to reopen files to display edited changes). 

· Improved algorithm for selection of std view in compressed view mode- New algorithm references selection from the start of the signal. (Much better handling of noisy files, especially tape recorded files.)

· Changed SonoBat and AutoRecorder to activate changes in preferences without restarting the programs.
